Naturopathy is a practice of preventing, assessing and treating various health conditions. Naturopaths treat the patient as a whole including mental, emotional and physical health. Naturopaths employ safe and effective natural therapies that support and stimulate the body’s own natural healing capacity to repair it’s self and recover from illness in the gentlest, least invasive and most efficient manner possible.

As a Naturopath my aim is to identify what is happening with the individual and why it is happening. I take a comprehensive health assessment including analysis of current and past symptoms, medical history, medications, supplements, diet and lifestyle, genetic predisposition and I check for dysfunction in each body system. I also do a physical assessment by taking blood pressure, assessing nails and tongue, applying the zinc status test and Iridology. Based on the outcomes of the health assessment, a health plan is developed to address the underlying cause of the condition and the symptoms. Treatment is evidence based and may include herbal medicine, nutritional supplementation, diet advice, lifestyle advice, flower remedies, tissue salts, homeopathy, aromatherapy, counselling or an exercise regime tailored specifically for the individual.

My consultations are only $75 for 1 hour. Half an hour consultations are available for repeat consultations or for initial consults that only require simple treatment such as cold or flu treatment. Half an hour consultations are only $58. Health fund rebates are available
